Recalling happy memories, of past times that I knew,
And not just the happy ones, there were sad times too.
Your memories are precious, and belong to you alone.
Many childhood memories, are among the best I've known.
Over the years some memories, have faded from my brain,
Now I store them in my poems, I can retrieve again.
Determined to keep those treasures, the only sort I own.
Being well beyond my prime, the sort of life I've known,
As you'd expect is in the past, that's where my interests lie.
Keeping fit and sound of mind, is something that I try.
Exercising my brain cells, by tapping computer keys.
Recording now my happy past, relaxed and at my ease.
